Vision:

Indus Hemp Trade Association envisions to create a sustainable ecosystem of the hemp industry in Rajasthan which will benefit everyone associated with the hemp revolution specially the people directly connected to the nature.
This will help in agriculture sector. Hemp earning reputation as a sustainable crop. The plant has over 25,000 known uses and is potentially an eco-friendly alternative for other crops commonly produced on an industrial scale.

Mission:

Indus Hemp Trade Association is a non-profit organisation found by the people from Rajasthan to help the state in implementation of its hemp vision at the grass root level.
Our mission is to create state legislation that will enable the legal cultivation of one of the world’s most versatile and valuable natural resources, industrial hemp.
Industrial hemp is the new and emerging industry which has a great potential for sustainable development and for commercial prospect. Bring in the government support for the farmers to cultivate and harvest hemp crop.
No Poverty- kind of any brainer how a Hemp industry will help, especially for marginalized farmers.
Creating economic opportunities in the entire value chain, creating livelihoods and helping in poverty alleviation. To generate employment in agriculture, transportation, management, food processing, packaging sectors.
Boost the agriculture sector Life on Land- Deforestation has rapidly increased because of the need to cut trees for products like paper.
Hemp based products can negate the need for deforestation, as you can simply farm the hemp, which already has a high productivity per acre.
